Sister Jacqulyn Reichart – always called Sister Jackie, is a sister of Mercy with a “divided life!" - Sister Jackie spent the first 29 years of ministry in education also “divided” between teaching and administration both at the elementary level and the secondary level.  She has a Masters degree in Education and Counseling from SUNY Brockport, and also did graduate work in counseling at the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada and John Caroll University in Cleveland Ohio.

In 1981, Sister Jackie began work in pastoral ministry as director of Faith Formation at Brighton Parishes and in 1988 took on that position at Our Lady Queen of Peace, also in Brighton. In 1995, she was named temporary administrator at the parish, and served six years as permanent pastoral administrator beginning 1998. In her congregation, the Sisters of Mercy, Sister Jackie held a six year appointment as Formation director of women in temporary vows.

Sister Jackie joins us part-time as a pastoral minister and helps out with our RCIA program and pastoral ministry at the Newman Community.
