Each year, the Newman Community sponsors two Alternative Spring Break trips during the University's spring break period. These trips offer students to learn about social issues, engage in community service, make great friends, and learn a lot about themselves.
These trips are rooted in the tradition of Catholic Social Teaching. CST calls us as Catholic Christians to live out an essential part of our faith and our mission, that is, promoting human dignity and right relationships with God, with one another, and with the Earth.
